Hi Lyn,

Please see attached plan on Yamana. I purchased 1000 shares on Monday at $13.33, as the stock had pulled back a bit. I was looking at selling a Dec 09 covered call against these and have picked a $15 strike as the $14 strike seemed very likely to get exercised given the current AUY and general gold trend and I would miss any additional upward move in the stock.  If I get exercised at $15, then overall profit would be higher. I have an auto trailing stop in place at current price - 90c, as from the charts it seems unlikely to drop down that much in one day although of course you never know! Anyway for this trade I am comfortable with a trailing stop rather than buying a PUT for insurance.

I have also been doing well on GLD. I have 10 x DEC 09 $100 strike contracts which I am up approx 79% (paid $9.75, now at  $17.41), plus additional GLD 15 x $100 calls of March 2010 in my trust account  and 15 x $100 Jan 2011 in my super account, again with auto trailing stops in place - all trades doing very well. For the March 10 and Jan 11 calls, (and even the Dec 09) I was looking at selling calls against these also (although will go quite a bit out of the money on these - just looking at picking up some extra $dollars on the calls.) - Do you have any thoughts on this?

Learning heaps and certainly hope to be able to transition more time into this over the coming months - also looking forward to the Sydney student support sessions - happy to assist in any way I can.

Dear Lyn,

We first saw you speak at "Boom and the Bust" in June and were impressed so we joined you a couple of weeks later.

We have gained so much knowledge in the last five months as we had never heard of a "Call" or "Put" before.
After much coaching and mentoring from you, six weeks ago we put in our first trade  - a covered call on AUY - this option was exercised last weekend with a profit of 14.09%.

One week later we felt confident enough to do a "bull calendar spread" on a gold stock IAG.  Four weeks later we were exercised with a profit of 41.05%.

Thank you so much for all your patience and knowledge - you always make yourself available tor us either on the phone or in person and we appreciate this very much.

We have still a lot to learn but every day we gaining confidence through listening to your webinars and other support sessions.

Hi Lyn and Ali,

Just thought I’d give you an update on how Peter (Kahrilas) and I are going with our trades. We came up for the October trading night and got some great tips from you in person, we’re doing quite well now with our trades placed in the last 2 weeks.

After your ‘spotlights’ on the retail sector, we did a bit of research and decided to trade on Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF), with the intention of trading short term – I’m very happy to report that within 2 days we closed the trade with a 24% profit! We also went into Nordstrom and exited today, after 3 days, with a 23% profit. We’re stoked with the results!

KB Homes has been a real winner for us also, we closed the trade on the weekend with a 74% profit. Not bad for a few minutes work, huh?

We’re also in a Citigroup trade (March $10 put), and we’re up over 60% profit as at this morning, with more to come as the price is still dropping! Woo hoo!

Thanks again for your coaching and mentoring, our lives have already changed because of this and we’re so positive that the best is yet to come!

Peter & I did unbelievably well with our Citi trades last week – we closed off our $10 put trade with a 234% profit after the shares fell to $2.83! we also closed 2 other Citi trades with a profit of 175% and 74%.

Thank you so much. As a result of joining you group over the last couple of weeks I have just made my first successful trade. I placed a PUT on BAC and have made $1000 overnight. I will look forward to joining more groups.

This is the kind of help that I have so needed, as I don’t seem to be able to obtain and interpret the appropriate news data that influences the markets direction. Now the greed in me is saying I wished I had joined the trading of the QQQ last night...
