How to Choose Quicktime as your default Audio Player

  1. Open quicktime - goto Start > All Programs > Quicktime > Quicktime player
  2. Goto the Menu and select Edit, preferences, quicktime preferences
  3. Select the tab File Types
  4. Check the box next to MP3
  5. Check the box next to Notify Me if other programs change these settings
  6. Click OK
